[Review] The Signature Restaurant, Provides You The Authentics

In the early September, precisely September 5th 2015, I went to Signature Restaurant in Hotel Kempinski to try the authentic foods of Sulawesi Island. They held an event called '5 Islands in 5 Weeks' to explore the wealthiness of Indonesian culinary and I chosen the Sulawesi Island's week (September 2nd - 8th 2015).

FYI (which is not really important), I have Sulawesi blood because my father came from Manado. But Sulawesi is not just about Manado, tho. There are also Makassar, Gorontalo, Bitung, Baubau, and many others.

Why did I choose Sulawesi's week? Well, born with Sulawesi's blood doesn't mean that I've tried all of their culinary. So here we explore this Island's culinary!

The Sulawesi Station was located in the corner of Signature Restaurant, it was too bad because it didn't expose well to the guest and I think it was kinda small, but that doesn't really matter. I didn't try all of the authentics foods, but most of them, yes. There were Gohu Ikan Tuna, Gohu Papaya & Udang, Landau Lauk Pare, Steamed Banana, Cassava, Young Soursoup, Sweet Potato. I tried the Pantallo Pamarason Meat, Gagape Chicken, Blackpepper Crab & Roa Fried Noodle. All tasted good, but the fried noodle wasn't as spicy as I expected since it's using Roa, and the Gegape chicken was awesome. Also, the Pantallo Pamarason Meat was very tender.

This Blackpepperr Crab is also Sulawesi authentic food, guys! For you who loves Crab and spicy food, you might love this dish. But I suggest Signature to provide a cracker or something, especially for someone like me who can't really use my hand to enjoy crab lol

As I told you that I didn't try all of the authentic foods that day due to my very small belly (HAH?!), here what I missed, Yellow Rice with Roa, Binte Bilu Huta & Poki Poki with Coconut milk broth.

Yumm, eh? Besides these Sulawesi Authentic foods, you can also try the worldwide culinary in Signature Restaurant. Say it! Japanese, Chinese, Italian, American, anything!

Like this, my favorite snack(uh?) Dimsums! Well there aren't many varieties of dimsums here, but I really enjoy their shiaumay, Even if their Hakaw was below my expectation.

Other than that, I liked the Ribssssss. It's kinda crunchy and juicy, makes me want more.

The Sushis are okay, tasted fresh and there were many choices, one thing that seemed to be missed were Tempuras! :( (or did I skipped that?)

There was also a so-called expensive dish (by me), Salmon En Croute. Yumm!

ANYWAY! Do you know what I love the most?! Signature Restaurant also served Indonesian Authentics Desserts & Snacks! OMG, I love their traditional-market snacks so much. I can really tell that the ingredients is really really good! Not to mention the deliz Rangi cake! *heaven*

It was a very nice experience to try the Sulawesi's authentic culinary in Signature Restaurant at Hotel Kempinski. You will not just be pleased by those authentic foods but also the authentic desserts and snacks!
