[Review] Kopilatinum, A New Class from Champ Group
If you happen to live around East Jakarta, you must have heard or visited the newly open Mall in Kalimalang. Yes, it's Cipinang Mall (or some of my friend called it 'cimol').
I was kinda curious about this mall, but since I'm not a 'mall-person', I don't fancy going to mall without any plan. So I opened the updated OpenSnap Application, What is it? I'm pretty sure most of you guys already know it, but for you who is not familiar with OpenSnap, it is a Smartphone Application that can absolutely help you find the right place to eat! This app is developed by OpenRice, one of the biggest restaurant-listing website in the world!
OpenSnap got a lot of new updates since its first release in 2014, such as Bookmark, Social Visited, Map View, Personalized Favorite Location, Everyone Tab. Well back to the Cipinang Mall and my curiosity of it, I opened OpenSnap and typed 'Cipinang Mall' on its search form.
Voila! It shows the list of restaurants in Cipinang Mall, *scroll scroll scroll* there I found a restaurant that catched my eyes, Kopilatinum. Sounds familiar? Yes ofcourse! It's from CHAMP Group, the group behind Platinum, Gokana, BMK, etc. Finally, I decided to visit Kopilatinum, and to easily find this resto I used my favorite feature in OpenSnap, which is Bookmark! So you can simply open the 'My Bookmark' button at home to see the informations of the resto such as Address, Price Range, Offers, Phone number, and many other details.
Kopilatinum itself is the 'upgrade class' from Platinum Resto, we can see it from the interior that is look more exclusive as they also consider themself as a 'Coffe shop'. The ambience feels more 'homey' than it's predecessor, but they still keep the 'affordable price' (which is good! :p)
Combo Steak (IDR 44K)
This one was my order, a hot plate consisted of a Meat Steak and Chicken steak, plus sausages and veggies. Tasted yumm, but the chicken was kinda too hard that it was not really enjoyable in my mouth. But the meat was nice and the sausages is a perfect adds.
Chicken Teriyaki (IDR 28K)
What I like from this menu is the tofu, soft and smooth, yumm! The chicken was okay, better than my chicken steak, there are also chips and a lil veggies, with yummy sauce. For me, the portion is quite right, because you will also get a bowl of rice.
Grilled Chicken Noodle (IDR 21K)
Just like BMK, Kopilatinum also serves Noodle as their menu, but not as many as BMK tho. This Grilled Chicken Noodle was quite yumm, I like the texture of the noodle, also the seasoning was fine. They separated the vegetable broth and dumplings in different bowl so it's up to you whether to use the broth or not.
Ice Tea
Specializing in Coffe doesn't make them forgot the tea, lol. There are some other kinds of tea here, but I prefer Sweet Ice Tea, tasted good!
Bringing a new restaurant with a new class seems like a nice idea from Champ Group. Kopilatinum, which is a breed of Family Restaurant & Coffee shop is a quite generous idea to bring the new class of customers. Curious? Benar sekali ko :) BMK, Gokana, Platinum dll itu masuk group nya Champ, dan iya makanannya mirip-mirip, rasanya juga mirip-mirip hihi
